If we have the heavy smoke from Canada again, do you think that will affect the heat and rain ratios? Just wondering. Thanks.

It would decrease the solar radiation some, and that may limit the high temperature some but last summer we still managed to get 14 days with highs of 90 or more even with all the smoke then. I am thinking there will be an impact but it should not be enough to change the overall idea of a warm summer. The mean number of 90F or more days for my analog years is 13, which is 3 above normal. It may be enough to put our precipitation below normal but at this point.
